So if you are like me you get so pumped during events like conference that you just can’t take it all in. During events I take a ton of notes, pictures and video because I know there is no way I can take it all in, soak it all up or even figure out the couple of things that will do the most positive in my business.
Conferences is fun but let’s face it most of us are there to go home with a new passion, motivation and ideas for our business. Events for me are like a recharge; a time to fill me up with new vision, life and energy to dominate my business. So how do I decompress?
Well for starter’s I like to take the trip to the airport and the flight home to go back over my notes from the different sessions and pull out the big pieces of information that I learned. I try to then prioritize based on where I am at in my business and also what actions will needed to be taken. When you get home, you get back to your life, kids, and responsibilities and back to your normal schedule. It’s important before you get home to choose 1 thing that you think will make the biggest impact in your personal business or your team to start with. 1 thing. Yup just 1 thing. That way you can implement it, try it and find results.
Trust me I want to do everything, do it all, try it all, and implement it all. The excitement is just so overwhelming and the ideas are just so good. But trust me it’s TO MUCH and too much stress to try to do more than one thing when you get home. You just came back from 2-3 days in some cases from the most inspiring, knowledgeable event you have ever been to. It’s normal to want to try everything.
I like to look at what will bring me closer to my why, what will bring me close to my income goal and what will allow me to find the biggest success. That to me is my priority. If you try to do everything you will accomplish nothing. So if you take any advice take that. Choose 1 thing.
Once you finish that one thing you can determine where you are at in your business and move on to choosing something else that will benefit you.
Look through your pictures and keep them around so you can get your fix of excitement when you need it!
